"At first pre-op visit, entire procedure, valve types, what to expect were explained to me and my family by the Dr. Magovern. Realizing later I had additional questions, I booked a second appointment requesting post-op bra, being turned on side in recovery and resuming certain medication unrelated to cardiac status. Had only one "bad" day about 48 hours post op. Required minimal pain medication and no blood transfusion. Dr. Magovern has great bedside manner and I highly recommend him."
